Watching you grow is the best thing in our lives, IN OUR LIVES! In just 4 month you have changed so much and we love each new stage. Although, I do find myself saying "ok stay just like this, stay little, stay my baby" but then the next new thing comes along and I fall in love with you all over again. I love everything about you. And I will shout it at the roof tops that I am one proud mama. Here are the little things that make you, YOU!
You love laying in your crib for naps and one night through the night. (I still like you close to me).
You sleep great in your bassinet that grandpa Michael made for you and sleep through the night at 8 1/2 weeks!.
You are a great eater! Breast milk only. Won't take a bottle yet. and won't take a pacifier. You like what you like (follow after mama maybe).
You LOVE bath time. You are starting to giggle when we get you ready for a bath.
Telling stories is our daily and nightly routine. I read to you ALL the time. And because of that you have started to tell dad and I stories by talking to us...AH GOO!
You love your puppy brothers. They are pretty good with you. Mugs loves to lick your toes and Blu knows he's pretty big so he keeps his distance. (only knocking you in the head once with his tail =(....darn dane, your a tough girl though).
I love that you sleep so well in your bassinet but miss you when you sleep till 4am or 6am, so when you do wake I pull you into bed with dad and I and we cuddle and wake up slowly...these are the best moments!
Dads says I wrap you up like a "burrito baby"for bed time.
You are the happiest of girls most of the time, especially in the mornings!
Can't get enough of every inch of you!
Those lips, those rolls!!!!
YOU make everything better, even laundry =)
We do just about everything together.
Our Finley Grace Tree was planted in the garden. Your dad gave this to me for my first mothers day.
You are my cuddle bear.
I love the way you stare at me when I am giving you a bath, melts my heart
You are my work now. This new gig has some even crazier hours than my last one. And even more demanding on the the body. This job description of a mom so far requires a 24/7 watch, always changing diapers, constant arm work out, always multitasking, one handed cooker, kangaroo gardener, forever breast feeding mama, comfort giver, story teller, giggle master, no breaks but ALL LOVE....it is my best job to date. I do miss teaching those crazies at times but I know that these moments with you are going by so quick already. You are only as little as you are right now at this moment. So I am blessed to have the time. That other work will always be there.
What I know for sure:
1. You are growing entirely too fast. stay little my baby
2. Little sleep may make you forget things, crash into cars and feel not all together most days but you make it all worth it.
3. You have made our lives complete
4. I have been changed for the better because of you!
