It seems as though summer has flown by. With the school year starting in a couple of weeks it's very much the sign of summer ending.....the heat, no way but summer mode for sure is coming to a halt soon. Don't get me wrong though, we will treasure even last minute of the summer naps, the time lapse of days... when your not too sure if it's Tuesday or Saturday ;), and of course ice cream runs at any given moment (although, with me...an end of summer by no means says it's the end of ice cream runs).
Our annual beach trip with Pat and the girls was made once again! Thanks guys, so much fun!
A little more haze this day, had me visiting the water but just one time!
I read the back of this chair as "CAT- CHIT"......=/ who in the heck would want to come to the beach to sit in "CAT-CHIT?!?"....Pat informed Amy and I that "It's 'Catch It' girls" =)!!! Makes more sense now, given the wave logo and all. Now you know that was our catch phrase the rest of the day (put a chinese accent to it and you have it) ahhh memories!!!
The girls getting layers upon layers of sun-block...we have learned our lessons.... RE-apply the sun-block, don't leave anything behind, more shade, less sand on the towels...plenty of food (however that last one has never been a lesson we've had to learn =)

Kar has grown so much this summer....They have been away all week =( I am missing my baby (so I had to throw some shots in of her)!
I did get to steal some love from this monkey though....Amy was asked to watch Owen for an afternoon while Pat finished spraying the new room they've been working on. Soooo, we took Owen SHOPPING, YOGURT TASTING AND EL BURRITO EATING!!!
A few Nubi poses!!! Owen had cookies and creme yogurt and sprinkles while Amy and I shared some black cherrie yogurt and fruit. He didn't want our pink yogurt to touch his chocolate! Are you your mom's child or what ;)

I was just telling Matt his summer really flew and he reminded me that we still have 6 weeks left:)I can't believe we are coming up on your 1 year anniversary.
Thanks for understanding my "olive oil" I think we have a family gene that allows us to be a wee bit different and I love it. "CatChit" ya that's a good one.
We also have some good looking kid genes, man Karly and Owie are some cute toddlers. Here is to the rest of summer and ice cream but I do have to say fall and christmas are going to be a blast too, as you know! Love you!
