it's been said that I don't post much...but when I do, I post big ;) this summer is going by too fast but here is a quick catch up.
Our boys are 8 1/2 months now. Blu is 115 pounds of lanky grayness, who likes to pull ripe peaches off the tree and sneaks up and scares me throughout the house. He is calm most of the time but likes to do laps in the yard in the evenings, oh and he can out run a golden but can't quite turn like one!
Mugz is a solid and stocky 50 pounds and is our little bear linebacker. He chases lizards most days and his hyperness and over excitement of meeting any new person still has him licking the lotion off everyones legs. He is the most cuddly thing I have ever met and puts a smile on my face all the time! He enjoys the peaches too when Blu grabs one for him!
Amy and Blu kisses!
Another year of 5th grade under my belt! And come to find out it looks like a third year is coming my way...oh LORD! but I am thankful for the job and look forward to more craziness.
MY KIDS!!!!!
Amy was surprised with her new car while at work by the whole gang!!!!
I'd like to order one titanium grey kia soul !
the two guys that make things happen! (not to mention that like to chat about randomness with each other and make trips to home depot and such, buds total buds!)
speaking of buds....'ok, I will be the trainer and you are the sea lion' I love to hear these two play!
thankful hugs
and more hugs
Don't ask my mom to take off that cap....auntie sue was in the middle of pulling through her hair to color it....but they had to come for the surprise! Starbucks didn't know what to think.....do we have a crazy family, NO WAY!
ok maybe!
d&k
the older and the the middle
For Fathers day we headed to my Dads for a bbq! He actually cooked for us, (it's probably supposed to be the other way around) but that was because of his request! Thanks for having us over and happy fathers day again Dad!!!
Karly doing some chalk art for Grandpa Mike.
I LOVE this picture of my niece Abby June..it might have to be enlarged for my house. Sweet baby!
Brother getting in on some chalk action.
This is Dad's dog Cowboy. He is a sweetie. He met Mugz and Blu a couple times but this last time Mugz was showing the bully in him =/
Happy Fathers DAY!
Another event that had us cheering was Ricky's race at the Perris Auto Speedway. I love the shots I got of Karly cheering and pointing out her daddy!!! So stinking sweet! It of course had me all teary eyed. At first I was very nervous watching the cars speed through the corners but once Ricky starting driving it was so much fun cheering for our brother in law!!!!! Not to mention he was in first and second the whole time, until he crashed (but not too bad otherwise I would be supporting this =).
There he is in second! GO #15 ......its the grey car, best looking car out there because of Lee's Auto Body!!!
GO!!!! RICKY!!!! Love this shot
but I think I love this one MORE!!!! AWWWW!!!!
Baby Girl!
HE'S IN FIRST!!! We were all so stinkin excited....hearing, "AND NOW, RICKY LEE #15 takes the LEAD!!!!!! But the cheering was a bit short lived..he went around the next corner and spun out. We were all hoping he'd get to finish the race but the car had too much damage. We loved watching the bit he did race so much and can't wait to see him really take the lead in the next one!!! It was so much FUN!!!!
Most of the post was for the month of June but the 4th of July snuck in. We decided to do a wipeout style slip in slide 4th at mine and David's place. It was going to be pretty small at first but the more we got to thinking we thought the more the better! It turned out really nice, we did it potluck style and made pulled pork sandwiches which was a first for David and I but we thought they turned out pretty darn good! Poor Kelsie got the flu and was not able to enjoy most of the events, which was the only big time bummer, sorry you weren't feeling well Kels =(. Thanks to everyone for making it a fun 4th!
Amy and I trying to take a simple pic. She began with knocking me out at first.
Then tried to hug and make up
Still trying to hug
thinking about a kiss?!?!
OH LORD!
Amy and I were talking about how you never really feel your age or 'grown up'....I still feel a solid 18 and she says she feels a good 10 =)!!!
Finally got a couple pics.
Relaxing!
David's grandparents and Pat and Tracy...four great people in our lives!!!
The Lee's and Vasquez'...Love these guys! That Emmy is the sweetest thing. She loved Blu and even gave me a kiss goodbye! Thanks for bringing all the yummie goodies, everything was a hit!
GIRLS
Setting off rockets!
The BIG wipeout!!!! This slide was nothing to mess with. It was pretty fast and crazy...We had most everyone going on it. And I have to say I am pretty darn sore from crashing into the bottom and getting stuck all the time!
Wipe OUT!
David's family
The Boys...Bill, David and Dave...love these guys!
two of my favorites!
the set up.
