The weekend started with a wonderful time with David's Family on Saturday night, being able to see his Aunt Tina and Uncle Dan from Utah. We love when they come to visit and wouldn't miss it for the world. The night was filled with great family, lots of laughs, stories, food and making plans.
Cliff is doing awesome and looks better than ever. We are continuing to pray for him and his health daily...the power of prayer is unbelievable!

Ok now these were a must post! David's Uncle Dan came to me at the end of the night and handed me a white box...he said "these are homemade chocolates, you get the first bite and then it's up to you if you want to share with David"......David knows I DON'T share my sweets ;)!!! Especially when they are to die for like these ones that Dan HAND made...Crazy...all different kinds of flavors that just melt in your mouth. David always told me Dan made candy but OH MY GOSH...best ever, Thank you Dan and Tina. (I did end up sharing a few with David, brought back childhood memories for him =)
On Sunday David and I had a wonderful Valentines Day together, just the two of us at home. Of course we had great food involved, time together, movies and just relaxing.
We started the morning by sleeping in a bit =) 8:30! Haven't been able to do that in a while since I have been working bunches...AWooHoo! Then we made blueberry pancakes, eggs and sausage and COFFEE!

After that David headed to the store to pick up our items to make dinner together that night. We always make a new dish together on heart day, that requires a bit more time and a lot more ingredients =) Bobby Flay never lets us down! Tonights meal Eggplant Parm with homemade Fire Roasted Tomato Sauce!
He came home with 'Red roses cause it's Valentines Day"....
...and these beautiful things cause "he knows I LOVE flowers" and would dream of having a room full of them =)..he's sweet as ever! I said "how many flowers did you buy?!?" Thanks babe I LOVE them !!!
