Fall Fun!

This October has been a blast! We started with a few weeks of great fall weather but ended with it feeling a bit like summer again...aw well, we are always thankful for the sun!

On Wednesday we went to Trader Joes for some pumpkin picking =)...have to say Karly was the cutest pumpkin we picked!

We headed to mom's that night for some carving time.

David's turned out pretty cute!!

David was a Ninja, we found his mask at the thrift store and pieced everything else together. I was Smee, from Peter Pan!

Amy carried a bottle of Whiskey around all night to complete her girl pirate look! (She drank that apple juice pretty quick ;)

The littlest tooth fairy and her assistant had to pay a visit on this night...too much candy going around I guess =)! Kelsie handmade Karly's costume and it turned out oh so cute!

David had a fun time spooking everyone that came through the door! Amy's friend Andrea came as a bunch of grapes! Such a cute costume!! Brooke came as a little witch.... She wasn't feeling well so she was playing the unhappy witch role well, poor thing!

A little pirate joined our crew later that night, completing the Pirate theme!

Owen came as, of course his favorite....James! "Not Thomas" he kept reminding us all night!

We think Marshall won the "Best Costume" prize...coming as the Headless Horseman! Nikki and him put it all together from things around their house. The real pumpkin on top even lit up with a hidden flashlight =). Nikki made a oh so cute Minnie Mouse too!

We questioned Marshall's costume wondering how he was going to drink....He thought of that too. A funnel for a neck worked out all night. He did have to become Marshall again later that night to eat though!

Arrr! Happy Halloween everyone! We tried to get pictures of all the costumes but Owie got a hold of Amy's camera (his fav) and we ended up missing Tracy as a Total 80's Girl and Pat the Doctor! Even though we didn't get one Trick'or'Treater we had tons of yummie food...Vampire Blood Tomato Soup with Munster Cheese Sammies, Mummie wrapped dogs, and lots a dips and treats!
