Ketchup and Mustard...

I guess since my Christmas break is finally here it's time to catch-up on some events that must be blogged! A combo of ketchup and mustard go quite well, so it's fitting that the combo of skydiving, family photo opt, Bah's Christmas Play, and a weekend getaway to Vegas with my husband mesh very well too =/! What can I say, life is always a bit a ketchup and mustard....

So the sister that I have often thought of as my baby, when she was little and I would put her to sleep, and now my teenage daughter at times (being that she never listens to me), has "flew the coupe!" CRAY-Z

So no one warned me that the week before Christmas break would ALMOST KILL ME!!! Crazy kids, crazy events, planning...ahhhh. But we made it. Our "Bah's Christmas" play turned out super cute and the kids did awesome. Here's a fifth of my students! 

And here we ALL are....after a cookie party! Anything out of the norm and they can't handle themselves =) but I love them bunches. A two week break will be enjoyed to the fullest. I have figured out that the breaks teachers get are needed for their sanity and health alone;)!

To start the two week break...David and I thought a weekend trip to Encore in Vegas was just the ticket. We had free rooms so we figured why not.  We slept a ton, ate a ton, relaxed in the spa, and just had vegas our way! 

Eating at StripBurger was super fun! I love vegas Encore style and without the heat or crowds. =) after shopping a bit we ate outside, had an awesome burger and fries and shared a banana/choc shake to call it an afternoon!...nap time!

The steak was BUTTER in your mouth....

and I got Alaskan King Crab! Ate the whole thing! You know I love food pics but David said 'your not really going to take a picture of the food in this fancy place, are you?"....YOU BETCHA =) 

Nice start to the break...thanks husband for the trip! We could have done without the buckets of rain that followed our car the whole ride home though! So there it is....ketchup and mustard, what's wrong with that...(and if I don't make any sense, I blame it all on teaching, it stole any brains I had left  =)
