We Made It!
David and I finally made it to Owatonna, Minnesota. We arrived late Friday night and moved in over the weekend. Our week long trip over here was great. The first night we drove from Banning to Salt Lake City and stayed the night with David's Aunt Tina. Thank you Tina, Paul, Mark and Chris for the short but great time. By the way, we made it to all of Marks suggested stops....so much fun La Beau's shakes and sandwiches are to die for! The next day we headed through Logan, Utah and made our way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where we stayed the night. Jackson Hole was such a cool town. The next day we spent time driving through the Teton National Park where we saw a family of bears (three cubs and their mom)....so cool. We also saw what was either a moose (which I really wanted to see) or an elk, it was dark so could have been either! We continued our way up to Yellowstone National Park, where we were both taken away by it's beauty everywhere you look. In Yellowstone we saw Old Faithful go off at 2:2opm (right on time), the lower and upper falls, firehole river, mud pots and geysers, moose falls, bison roaming in and out of the roads, a bunch of deer, one coyote and so much more. It is amazing that so much beauty is is one place, God really blessed us to see all that we did. That night we stayed at the Old Faithful Inn. Here we sat be a huge fireplace and drank hot chocolate and fell asleep to Old Faithful going off out our bedroom window and woke to the same thing. The whole trip was unreal! The fourth day took us all the way to South Dakota where we drove through the Black Hills along along side so many deer, luckily none of them tried to jump out unexpectedly! The next morning we got to see Crazy Horse Monument and Mt. Rushmore. By night fall on Friday we made it. The apartment we are in is cozy and cute, thanks to all of our family and friends that helped us make this home for the short time we will be here. We really appreciate all of the continuous love and support, the many blessings, wonderful gifts and hand-me downs everyone has contributed to our big move...we couldn't have done it without all of you! Our love and prayers go out to all we hold close to our hearts....Miss you all and see you soon. (Pictures of our trip are on the way!)
